CONTENT WARNING: Macbeth contains scenes of simulated violence and is best enjoyed by those 13+.

The Riverside Theatre Project is a partnership between the Showboat Theatre, R-S Theatrics, and the Half Act Theatre Company. Our mission is to bring the urban St. Louis community and the rural Hermann community together to engage with one another and create art.  Our rehearsals take place in both cities, then we converge at the Showboat Theatre for tech week and production weekends. This process is made possible because of the dedication of all of our actors and production team members and the generosity of the Hermann community.

After a successful production of The Sound of Music at the historic Showboat Theatre, we are returning with Shakespeare's Macbeth, edited by John Wolbers. Throughout the rehearsal process, St. Louis artists will be immersed in the Hermann community and live in donated housing for tech week and performances.

We will also be partnering with several Hermann businesses to make this a town-wide event! To learn more, click the button below!
